Transparent insights on our process, signature style, and how we craft unforgettable celebrations
Introduction
At Blue Door Flower Co. we believe that every wedding is a unique story, and it’s our joy to help bring that story to life through florals.
In our last blog post, we talked generally about 2026 floral design pricing trends and what to expect as a newly engaged couple or event planner. This week, we’re diving specifically into Blue Door Flower Company’s 2026 pricing, answering frequently asked questions, and giving you an inside look at what it’s like to work with our team.
The Blue Door Flower Company Experience
Our signature style is garden-inspired, romantic, and seasonally driven, with a focus on lush, natural movement. We source the majority of our flowers locally, embracing the beauty of each season while supporting sustainable floral practices. From soft, airy bouquets to immersive installations, our designs bring effortless elegance to every setting.
For us, luxury is an experience, not a product. Open communication, honest conversations, and building meaningful relationships with our clients are at the heart of what we do—just check our long list of five-star reviews. A design is only as strong as its team, and our clients are always at the center of ours.
From the initial inquiry to consultations, we curate custom proposals, design decks, and even hand-drawn watercolor mockups of your florals. This hands-on approach sets us apart, allowing us to tell your unique love story through flowers, whether it’s an intimate gathering or a grand destination wedding.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should we book? We recommend booking us at least 9-18 months in advance for full-service weddings and events, especially for events during peak season (May-October) or destination events. This ensures availability and allows us to fully understand and curate your vision throughout the design process.
Do you offer virtual consultations? Yes! Once you fill out our initial inquiry form, we will follow up with you within 24-48 hours to learn more about your vision. Then, we are happy to either send an initial quote based on the scale of your event, or meet in person, via FaceTime or Google Meets, or a simple phone call. This allows us to connect with couples all over the world while providing the same elevated and thoughtful experience.
Can you work with seasonally-available and/or locally-grown flowers? Absolutely. It’s actually our ethos to source as many of our fresh product (florals, foliage, and textural pieces) as locally as possible. We believe strongly in supporting our farmers and growers, and honestly, their product is far better than anything you can find wholesale. That said, for out-of-season events or specialty blooms (orchids, anthuriums, protea, etc), we have wonderful connections with several luxury wholesalers worldwide.
What do couples typically spend with Blue Door? This is a great question, and an important one as you plan your event. There are many factors that play into your floral design budget. However, couples with a smaller floral presence at their event can expect to spend a minimum of $5,000-$8,000 (plus taxes and fees). Most of our couples spend $7,000-$12,000, and many of our couples spend $12,000-$15,000 for large-scale, high-end events with a large floral presence (installations, overhead greenery, large guest count, and so on). We also offer an A La Carte option for couples who just need a few pieces, like a bridal bouquet and boutonniere, and few centerpieces. Every proposal is carefully curated to match your vision and priorities.
Do you provide set-up and delivery? Yes. All of our full-service events include set-up and delivery in a separate line. We also offer strike (breakdown) later that night, or the next day, depending on your venue’s requirements. For larger events, we typically need to rent a refrigerated van or truck to safely transport all of your pieces. We have a flat delivery fee of $600, plus $1.75/mile. This is added in the final invoice and reflects travel to and from airports, wholesalers, farms, growers, and more in the weeks and months leading up to your event. We carefully monitor this mileage in the Stride app.
Can you accommodate non-traditional or experimental designs? We are always up for a new, fresh challenge at Blue Door Flower Co. We live for out-of-the-box ideas-nothing is off-limits! While our signature style is romantic and garden-inspired, we love collaborating on bold, unique, or modern designs—anything from minimalist arrangements to dramatic overhead installations.
Are you LGBTQ+ friendly? Yes! At Blue Door Flower Co., we celebrate love in all its forms. We are proud to work with LGBTQ+ couples and approach every wedding with the same care, creativity, and respect. Your love story is at the heart of everything we design, and we strive to make every couple feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
Do you travel for destination weddings? Yes. We have flowered throughout New England (Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts), the Adirondacks, and even Naples, Florida. We love to travel and connect with local partners and vendors in the luxury wedding market. No distance is too far for us! We just ask that our clients cover the cost of airplane tickets, travel, and lodging for the duration of our time on-site.
How do we begin working with Blue Door? Start by submitting an inquiry form through our website. Then, we will email you confirming we received your inquiry, as well as some follow-up questions to create an initial quote. We can then schedule a connection call to get to know one another, and discuss your vision a bit more!
At Blue Door, every wedding is unique, and our pricing reflects the bespoke nature of our work. Rather than offering rigid packages, we tailor each proposal to the size, season, and complexity of your celebration. Below is a guide to help you understand what your investment may look like.
Starting Investments
Couples hosting smaller events—typically under 100 guests—spend a minimum of $5,000 (before taxes and fees). This usually includes ceremony florals, reception arrangements, and personal flowers such as bouquets and boutonnieres.
Typical Range
Most smaller weddings fall between $5,000–$8,000.
Many of our couples spend anywhere from $8,000–$12,000, depending on size, complexity, and design elements.
Larger weddings, with installations in both the ceremony and reception, multiple centerpieces/tablescapes, additional elements like bar or escort table florals, and wedding party personals often fall in the $12,000–$15,000+ range.
We aim to create a transparent, collaborative process that allows couples to understand the value behind each element while bringing their wedding vision to life. Therefore, every proposal is fully tailored to your celebration, so no two weddings are ever the same.
